Aaron Fike – No. 1 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra

American Commercial Lines 200 Race Preview

Aaron Fike on Racing at Atlanta:

“I think Atlanta Motor Speedway is pretty cool,” said Aaron Fike.  “I think it’s one of the fastest places that we race at.  I tested there in an IRL (Indy Racing League) car when I was 18 and we ran speeds around 220 miles per hour.”  The team that Fike tested with, which was owned by Ron Hemelgarn, went on to win the 2000 IRL Championship and nearly matched that feat in 2001 with driver Buddy Lazier.  “I’m looking forward to racing at Atlanta.  I like the bigger, faster race tracks.”
